Sort of related but above picture prompted me to ask.
What is the correct oriention of centrecaps with in wheel rim to fit cottectly and not snap the tabs???
Is it removal cutoutis opposite the Valve?
Had new Calipers fittted and noticed afterwards the caps had not been fitted correctly amd several tabs broken!!
If someone could advise would be appriciated

When you install the center cap. On the back of the center cap there is a picture of a value stem line it up with the value stem on the wheel. Hope this helps. 👍🇺🇸🤠

In addition to what Railroad Guy pointed out, we have all learned (usually the hard way) to only remove and replace the center caps ourselves to ensure they are handled very carefully, especially as they get older and the tabs become more brittle as well as the correct valve stem alignment ...

Yes, always remove them before anybody removes your wheels. The perpetrator should replace them.
