I have a six speed 05 SSR. Noticed recently a scraping sound when I'm going in reverse over somewhat uneven pavement. Usually first thing in the morning. Not every time. Occasionally later in the day after traveling for awhile. Can be quite loud. I see nothing loose or hanging on tires or drive shaft. Any ideas? Thanks, in advance, for your help.

Without actually listening to the sound, I would recommend you pull the rear wheels and disks so that you can have a look at your parking brake on each side. The design of the parking brake is not the most robust....... AND...... It really gets a workout on the six-speed trucks.

Thanks, Mike. I'll get it on a lift and check things out. Appreciate your response.
