The only fix we have had to date is the window tint has been replaced four times; at no charge. I noticed today the scratches are on the outside too!

Bill Scott said:Just curious if anybody has actually come up with a real fix for vertical window scratches, I've seen alot of posts, but still not sure what to do It appears to be the seal on the very top of the door. as that is the only thing that the window touches where it is scratching. My dealer ordered new seals, maybe when the old ones are removed I'll be able to see what's doing the damage.
hey, Don - glad to see you back - missed you at Topcats.zainossr said:A good tinter can apply a felt material to the seals which will prevent the scratching. Too bad the General left the felt off. You can bet that he has had prenty of bitchin' because of this little goof up!
Hoping this helps all of our comrades in the SSR arena.Bill Scott said:Just curious if anybody has actually come up with a real fix for vertical window scratches, I've seen alot of posts, but still not sure what to do It appears to be the seal on the very top of the door. as that is the only thing that the window touches where it is scratching.
