THANKS to all who have helped.. i posted this on a thread in the for sale section but i wanted to make sure that the ones that were SO nice to me and who have helped me on my search read this.

Your very very nice people on this site and i wanted to tell you.
With my search ive realized I really need to see and touch the vehicle i buy and i dont have time to travel now to go see and drive the SSR i would buy. Its ashame my state of Texas wont sell these SSR's for what i see them sell for on the east coast to anywhere it seems out of town, i would be in one if Houston,Tx sold them at the good pricing i've been quoted from MO. to PA. to WI.

Below is my post from the for sale site thread:

Sorry im very frustrated.. ive given alot of my personal time up searching for a good deal plus some hard earned vacation to search for this SSR... partly my fault that two weeks i was off work since i didnt check with my bank during that two weeks first to get my low offered interest rate i have now....but i have dealt with MANY MANY dealerships and lying dealers through this search.. NOTHING like ive ever experienced before...

I REALLY want to say I have had the GREAT chance to meet some of you off this site thru emails and personal messages to many phone calls.. your very nice gals and guys... meaning just the ones who dont sell SSR's...LOL...and to add you seem to have a great little SSR community here i wanted to join.

I will check back time to time since i feel i better give this up soon and move on to something else. I cant handle many more disapointments and i also think its a sign saying I dont need an SSR. Only a slight chance left now i will be buying an SSR.

PEACE OUT! Tony in Dallas

I must not know all the details of your situation, but I can say that I have been in the car business for a long time and there are good people and bad people in the car business just like there is in any business. I live in Ca. now, but I am from the great Northwest, where a Man's Word is a Man's Word. If you truly want an SSR, I will get you one for the right price. Don't let a car dealership or a person keep you from buying something you want. If you want it .....BUY IT.

Tony only bid up to 10,000.00 on the color and year SSR he has been searching for. Currently the bid is 27,000.00. He said he was willing to pay 30,000.00 in past threads. I now feel he did not intend to buy ever, otherwise why is he still not bidding?

HOW come you seem to be the only one mad about me not buying an SSR?

I have my personal and private reasons why im not bidding any longer on that SAID SSR on ebay..

CHILL >> who knows maybe i'll get one maybe i wont. I'm was just trying to say i was stressing way too much over all the offers and then the offers being tugged out from under me when i got excited and happy i found an SSR.. As i've said i have financing lined up, and i have my reasons for not buying from certain Dealerships.

take care..

10-4 on that good buddy.. true statement and this guy might get burnt on the final offer. I've had more people write me back from ebay on items seeing if i wanted to purchase their item because of the bidders not coming thru with the $$$$$.

I dont like ebay myself.. some cheating people on there.

I am not a pro on bidding but I sure as hell would not bid anymore until the 11th hour. Why drive up the bid earlier than you have to.

Good Luck Tony I for one are behind you! I hope you can get it for a steal. :thumbs

Tony,
I don't know how you can interpret from my post that I am mad. I am mearly saying that from all the posts you have made on this site in regards to how difficult of a time you have had with dealers, trying to find a SSR in the color you want (You wanted all of these at some time or another, Ultra violet, red, or yellow) at the price you want to pay, there have been more than several vehicles that meet this criteria that you do not seem to be agressively persueing. I wanted one and a week later I had it at a good price. Jammadave wanted one and approx. 1 week later he got it at a good price. Why are you having such a difficult time? You should have been bidding up to your max amount on the Ultra violet from Reliable on e-bay instead of bailing out at $10,000.00. As I said to you before in regards to your reasons for not buying from certain dealers, if you want one bad enough, and you can negotiate the price you are willing to pay, you need to set those other reasons aside. Life is too short. Go buy an SSR and enjoy.

Well i appreciate your concerns of my bidding but myself bidding on auctions are my choice and my decisions and thank goodness not of others deciding for me. Gary i dont think you understand bidding on auctions on ebay. you never bid everything in the first day or first few days.. that only jacks the price way too high to have any room to bid (if one wanted to) later in the auction. Most bidders bid at the final minutes of an auction to WIN. I also dont think i should explain any futher than i have already in this thread starter. Thanks Gary for your concerns and for wanting me to own an SSR. I do TOO.. i hope to have one someday... but i buy differently than you do and i dont buy any of my vehicles at high prices or finance at just any interest rates... when i was being offered the cheaper prices on SSR's early on when i started seriously looking i didnt have the financing offered to me i have now. Plain and simple i wanted and still do.. good pricing and a good interest rate. at first i was being offered 8 to 10% financing.. And there was NO way i would finance any vehicle at that high of an interest rate. So maybe someday i will have one but im not shopping for sometime due to being frustrated over the search.

Take care sir... T.
