Glad all you like the hood, I do.
The red hood looks good, but we all know, the black looks better.
LOL
To answer a few of the questions,
The hood is fiberglass
Thanks for telling me about the hole in the hood, I didn't see that
I wondered what yall thought about all the front being blacked out
painted the Chev emblem on the rear also left the chrome ring, chrome, and inside my wheels.
The front end will look better (MEAN) if I ever get the spoiler on also.
(NOT MENT TO TURN THIS INTO A SPOILER THREAD)
About the paint, I did it myself (I do my own work in my little Piddle shop), got the PPG people to take a picture (shot) of my fenders so I could get the right mix, the shot gave a different mix than my color code did.
The code is more black than the black that is on my truck, this has been talked about here before.
After painting and buffing, gave it a few coats of Zaino
I saw where someone got there hood painted for $350, that is a good deal,
worth every dollar.
You can get the hood from Eric Peters at [email protected], sells for
$975 + shipping and crating.

Here is a shot of it in the Piddle shop!
