SEMA Info

the website is www.sema.org

The booths with SSR's that I know of for now ( I am sure there are many more)

TracTech (Detroit Locker) #22634 Booth and American Racing Wheels (not sure of the booth)

Tickets Online (Deadline Oct 22) @ $10
After that....Tickets by fax are I "think" $20 and, Tickets at the Door I think are more.

It is well worth it for any auto fan, I enjoy it, every year it gets better !

SEMA - let's meet at Axiom - first thing second morning.

You need to have some borderline legitimate business interest to get in - no public admission. My way in is through the marine industry, and I have no idea how closely they check - I had no problem getting credentials. Might be tighter if you're close by - I guess they figure someone going a couple of thousand miles to get there must be serious. There are so many marketplaces represented that anyone with a business involvement should be able to find a way in. Theoretically, someone running a convenience store should be able to go in to check what new automotive fluids are available - just get creative, and we'll see you there.

I'd like to find out how many SSR owners are going - how about a show of hands on who will be there. I'm taking the SSR - looking forward to a great road trip.

Should be several others on display. MBRP (www.mbrp.com) will be showing one with a Hahn Racecraft turbocharger. I saw info indicating Coddington will have one, Joel (69 camaro on this site) said his orange/yellow would be there, the black one coming from Ontario is supposed to have a full Air Ride suspension. GM has 22500 sq ft - they awarded 5 SSRs to be modified and shown at SEMA - possibly they will be in Gm's booth.

Let you know if I find more out there.

I figure since Axiom has been great at communicating their involvement, it would be a good place to meet. First day is a bit of a gong show - second day would probably be better. How about heading there first thing second day? - I'm good to go. Hope Axiom doesn't mind.

Looking forward to meeting some other fanatics.

SEMA meeting?

Super!
The Axiom Styled "Detroit Enduro" will be in Booth #22634
which belongs to "TracTech/Detoit Locker"

This vehicle is one of the GM vehicles, and was provided to TracTech. GM wanted to see some more aggressive Aftermarket Accessories for these vehicles.

The Enduro is sporting the Magnacharger, the TrueTrac Lockers, and the Aggressive stance is very cool. From BellTech, Halibrand and Toyo Tires.
As far as the ride, holy....., feels great, very smooth hookup, and zips through So Cal traffic! Loads of Improvement.

They needed to keep the production model somewhat conservative, and are looking forward to it having some Aftermarket "Attitude Adjustments" available for its enthusiasts.

Axiom will have one of our "Bonneville 200 MPH Club" members there, big fan of HP and Chevy. Loves to chat about the Racing Days of the 60's, and is very knowledgeable in the Chevy industry. Bring your questions? Can't wait to see you all there!

How many from CA?

I can be there, wed or thur. what about parking? I don't care for any alpha beta dents.

Would like to meet with as many fanatics as possible.

Set the time and location.

I am new here and just wanted to let you all in on the SSR from Canada! my name is Ron Gibbs and I flamed the SSR that will be at SEMA for Martin at MBRP Exhaust in Canada.I also have a few other GM vehicles that will be on display at SEMA this year.A Dually ,an S10 4 door 4x4 ,GoodMark Chevy nova and the Black Magic Slammed ,bagged S10.
Here are some teaser shots before clearcoat of the flames all in HOK paint and handstriped in blue in traditional flame colours! The SSR is apparently lined up for a cover feature on a major truck magazine.pics of the other vehicles I posted in another post here also.

SSR Diamondback at SEMA?

I read in Automotive News that there will be an SSR outfitted with a Magnussen Supercharger and Carbon fiber hood, bedcover etc. It looks crazy. Someone told me that there will be a website, www.ASCmore.com, where you can provide feedback on the car during and after the SEMA show, and register to win free stuff including a one-off scale model of the Diamondback. Not sure what booth number it will be in, maybe just parked outside?

I'll look for it when I'm at SEMA, if anyone else sees it, take photos, the rendering in AN did not do it justice
