Anyone else having problems with the "Service Air Bag" warning light and icon coming on once in awhile intermittently. Seems to happen from the time the vehicle is started and stays on the duration of the ride. The next start, it may or may not come on at all. I have had my '05 Slingshot yellow for about 2 months/800 miles. Do I:
a) ignore?
b) bring in for service?
c) wear a crash helmet just in case?
d) all of the above?

Put on a crash helmet until you can get it in for service!! :glol :glol

No Worries

No worries. Most of the time the airbag doesn't deploy! So you're safe (or is it unsafe?) :smash :glol

Service or check it yourself

When I took mine apart for painting the service airbag light would come on and stay on while I moved the SSR around. Thought maybe it was something I may have done wrong. Turns out it was the connection for the passenger side airbag off light located in between the visors. Once the connection was firmly pushed together all was well. Just something to check for.

Service Air Bag

I started getting the service air bag warning intermittently and finaly brought it into the dealer , they ordered a new sensor and replaced it this week. The warning has started coming on again, I guess I'll have to bring it back one more time.
