First Sheepskin Question!

pherrley said:
Does anyone make a set of SheepSkin seat covers or are they all custom? Anyone seen some pictures of them in an SSR?
WOW
has anyone even thought of that before now? ... hmmm I don't believe there is a photo of a SSR with SheepSkin over the soft, supple and luxurious leather seats.

Can someone here
him out with some photos? :confused

soft, supple and fine luxurious leather seats! They are nice but slippery. Just a thought, maybe some nice sheepskin would be warm in the winter and comforting in the summer. Plus since my skinny behind doesn’t quite fit in the original seats maybe some sheepskin would lock me in a bit tighter when I'm trying to accelerate through the corners. It's only a thought but maybe its a bit too cheap for others. In the major airliners I know for a fact that they are all equipped with sheepskin seat covers that provide the best of both worlds, hot and cold.

True

Being up way up North most of the time I actually pray for the Sun and heat. Truthfully, I have to admit, I never really thought about how hot and slippery the leather can get in the heat of the sun... I am sure that SheepSkin would be a great insulator indeed.

It's especially entertaining when you jump in after it's been sitting at 98 degrees for a few hours in the sun with the top down

cover

Thought that's what the polishing cloth that resides behind the seat was also used for. Kind of double duty.
