I have a 2005 SSR and love it.

Want to smooth out the ride (if possible) as well as change the attitude of the vehicle. (would like to lower the rear)

Looking for suggestions on successful shock, spring and lowering options that result in a better ride and a lower look.

I sincerely appreciate your opinions and suggestions.

Not afraid to spend money although my budget is limited

All the best,

I just lowered the rear on mine at the Coastal SSRs Winnie Tech Day. The rear springs were changed and the OEM shocks replaced with Bilstein 4600 Sports shocks all the way around.
Purchased all at Simple Engineering aka Mike in AZ. Besides the springs and shocks you’ll need the shorter “bump” stops (auxiliary springs) and the rear “spring isolators”.
The ride is fantastic and the “stance” is just right.
Hope this helps.

Installed Mike in Az (Simple Engineering) bilstien sport shocks and springs.

I did the same thing that Skip2004 did.
