Here's my answer to the soft storage idea. I built 2 gates that are easily removable, if I want to take them all the way out, or I can just swing them out of the way if I need the full length of the bed to haul golf clubs. I found the two bags at the swap meet for $10.00 each, and they hold all my cleaning supplies and a few tools. I haven't quite finished yet, I'm going to take them out and have them powder coated black.

Great job Lloyd! Hey, do you have the patterns for the insets you made for the lid?

Jeff
Thanks, no I didn't keep the patterns, but they weren't too hard to make. I used some thin cardboard and laid on my back in the bed and traced them out.
