Has anyone upgraded their stereos in the SSRs? I am thinking about trying to upgrade mine, but not sure where I can fit the speakers and an amp. :reddevil :reddevil :reddevil

You might try the "Search Mode" under "Stereo". Several of the folks have made some very interesting conversions and additions to the equipment. It all boils down to just how much $$ you want to spend.

upgrade

I put pioneer double din nav system, 12 pack cd where tire patch kit was, back up camera,10 inch sub woffer(modified 200 watt) behind pass for around 2,300. The sub was overkill. Should have put in compact kenwood 6.5 inch but it was b/o'd. Now I'm thumping away like the youngins. The bose system is fine, don't let the stereo shop tell you otherwise!

Southern California

I am very anxious to upgrade the sound system in my SSR, but am very worried about finding the right place to do it for me. Has anyone had their sound system upgraded in the San Diego, or greater Southern California area? Looking for recommendations....

You took the question right out of my mouth, Jeff ! ! :)

My SSR came with a Bose sound system. I think its great and I'm very picky about the tone quality of my music. I was beginning to think I must be a dunce about music reading this thread.

Thanks for that comment at the end of your post.

I just installed the Pioneer Nav unit. Sound Advice is having trouble getting the rear channel to operate the rear speakers.

Have you had any problems? Who did your install?

I had Sound Advice install a Pioneer Nav Unit. They can't connect the sound to the Bose properly. No rear channel. Any ideas? Who installed yours?
