Speeding Tickets

53 in a 35 uphill coasting. This thing just wants to go and doesnt slow down. Got it pleaded down.....Then bought a RADAR dector to remind me to slow down. :nono

Anybody had their's up to or over 100 mph ? I did Sunday on an empty strentch of
4 lane! It was to tempting for this born again kid. :nono I know.

I had mine up to 100 last Tuesday when I took it up to the car wash up by my house. We keep the truck in Washington, DC at my girlfriends house. I live in Greenbelt, MD. There are roads around here that you can get up to that speed but not for long.

105mph and still climbing when a Viper passed me like I was parked :cry :cry

62 in a 45. It felt like I was going 45 Honest, No really!! He said he wouldn't give me a ticket if I gave him an excuse he never heard before. So, I told him that my wife ran away with a policeman, and I thought it was him trying to catch up with me to give her back....but he said he already heard that one!

Stopped by cops twice within 2 miles of my house. The first time was the first week and the cop wanted to heck out the car. He then said I should stick to the speed limit ( I was over 5 mph) :mad

The second time I was doing 45 in a 25 while I was busy trying ti install my radar detector (the best on the market= Valentine 1 ). He let me go with a warning. He said "cool car, by the way" as he was giving me the written warning.

100mph+

I top 100 mph nearly daily. (Hard to keep her under 80 - in a 70 zone...)

I'm on the road at 4:30 to get to work - Hwy 99 is rather empty, and I usually uncork her and 'cruise' at 100 for 4 or 5 miles before my off ramp...

Escort cordless solo s2 has saved my butt many times - the CHP emits a freq that makes my detector SING!

IF the traffic is too much, after my offramp - I pass thru 7 miles of crops before I get to Fresno - stoplights mark the mile points - so sustained 100mph isn't possible - BUT between those lights look out!!!

Been over 100 many times....Almost got nailed between Phoenix and San Diego clipping along at about 115 when my radar detector went nuts...slowed down and came across two highway patrol cars side by side facing opposite directions lighting up everyone who rolled by....


Today on the way home from work I was following a motorcyle CHP for a while after he saw me ripping up the off ramp, luckily I saw him and slowed down. He watched me follow him for several miles, then pretended to pull over to the side of the road so I would take off. I didn't fall for it, first he followed me from behind a van, then he followed me in the open, at exactly 65. Then he must have gotten tired of me and he whipped around me and crossed pretty close in front of me as he moved over three lanes to the left and hightailed it down the freeway. I think he was upset I didn't fall for it.

105 passing 2 cars!

I had no idea I was flying that fast. I have a hard time keeping to the exact limit, but black beauty goes alot faster than I'm used to.

Just returned from a trip to Florida.....couldn't resist the wide open straight aways in Georga and let my 'Baby' take a deep breath at 110+ ! What a rush and did she sound nice! (No tickets....YET!)

I recently discovered a near 4 mile stretch of secludedstraight road that's pretty much abandoned by nine pm. I openned 'er up to about 90+ :jester I haven't done it lately since I saw several police had stationed themselves behind some brush there and nailed about 5 guys going over the speed limit a few nights back. :leaving

Its real hard getting a ticket when your SSR is parked in the garage under a cover. :lol
Had mine to a bit over 90. Speed limit sign said 95. Or was that the road I was on???? :ssr
