WOW that BLUE does look AWESOME! :thumbs

I see that their Pilot two-tone / silver over black is sporting a silver running board. However they don't have the pin strips on this Pilot SSR.

Great shots!

The side view mirror on the third photo looks different. Is it?

My 2007

:) :) :)

Great picture of the Pacific Blue. Same color as the 1995 Bright Blue Metallic on my Sonoma. Chevy does come thru.....

I have my name on the top of the list at my dealer for a 2007 SSR. I now have my color.
Pacific Blue lower/ Ricochet Silver upper, chin spoiler, diamondback style hood scoop, backdraft rear spoiler.....and a 427 powerplant.

Can't wait.......... :cool :cool :cool

Wow sounds like you got a great "plan" I do hope they will still offer Pacific Blue in 07! :thumbs

NOW ... did anyone notice the newest mod or addition to the outside of the 06 SSRs? It will be the easiest way you can spot a 06 SSR without knowing all the paint colors and two tone combos... give up?

It is the new small silver GM square logo that is on the lower fender of every new 06!

Min. 5 years projected

steve said:
What makes you think there will be a 2007 SSR produced? I don't think so.
Original GM projections were to make the SSR for a min. of 5 and hopes had been 6-7 years. Again, that will depend on market demands. Thus it is anyone's guess what will happen beyond 06 MY.

2006 models coming in mid-July

I understand that the Lansing Craft Centre is currently being retooled for the model change-over with production of the 2006 model year slated to begin on July 18th. Production targets are 40 vehicles a day. SSR national sales are reportedly currently around 225 a week so hopefully the dealer inventory backlogs are clearing.

I don't know my brother works at the GM truck plant and he says 06 will be the last year for the SSR, Time will tell
Good News, Bad News......

Bad News - I would hate it if this comes true.

God News - It would immediatley RAISE the value of our "collectable trucks!"

Watch the Brickyard 400 in August

I would like to see black on the top and silver on the sides... :cool
I got word today that they are still working on painting the 45 two-tones that will be used at Brickyard 400 race in August. They expect to complete all of them by the end of this week. I was told they really look sharp too! :cool

BTW: The color combo is exactly what jc/ssr was hoping to see Black over Silver! :thumbs

Backlog

I dont understand how there is a national backlog. My two local dealers still have new 04's in inventory. I guess that the 05's are selling better? Maybe this does give us hope for another year of production/ :thumbs
