This link has been posted before, but judging by posts recently, I think some of our newer members may want to check it out. Some of the stuff is lame but there is also some pretty neat stuff too. They carry a variety of styling kits, decals, ssr's for sale, parts of all sorts, etc. I thought the brushed aluminum dash kit looked neat.

SSR Chrome License Plates

I just wanted to share with our members my experience with ordering on EBay. I ordered what I thought would be a nice SSR Chrome license plate for aprox. $9.00. I had it for only six months and it looks terrible :mad The decal was starting to peel off and the chrome became almost completely pitted. The first photo is what it looked like when I ordered it and I don't have the "guts" to show you what it looks like now. :smash :cry

I then decided to go on a hunt to find one of a much higher quality. I finally found one on EBay that was at a starting bid of 24.95 and I won the plate. It was made of solid brass and coated with a high quality chroming process! It is much heavier and definitely worth the extra money. The SSR logo is etched into the metal and then acrylic paint was applied. I very high quality job I must say! :thumbs

That vendor is no longer in business (under a new name I am sure). Just keep your eye out for that photo of the same frames being sold by other vendors. Here is the link to the one that I bought. Read how it is made and you can tell how great the quality is.

Some Ebay sellers leave immediate feedback based on your purchasung the item and paying quickly. Most though will not leave feedback until the buyer does. What I've found is the seller uses his feedback as a threat to the buyer and retaliates if the buyer leaves negative feedback. As a buyer I no longer leave feedback unless the seller does so first. :boxing However, I will leave negative feedback if there is fraud and always prepared to suffer the consequences. I think eBay should make it mandatory sellers leave feed back first to eliminate this blackmailing.:yellow:

That's what the feedback system is for and should work against the dishonest sellers!

Excellent point, MansArt.

eBay Management needs to address the "feedback blackmailing" (great name for it) crap. Once the buyer has paid for the item with no glitches . . . proper feedback should be a requirement for continue selling.
