:) This is the weekend in Dallas for the Kruse-Leake
classic car auction at Market Hall. Sale starts Friday
and goes through Sunday. Nov 21-23.

#7 and #17 signatures will be sold on Saturday.
I plan to be there in my red SSR on Saturday.
Maybe some of you guys (and gals) could be there
to share in the excitement.

For more info go to www.kruse.com.

I plan on being there Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I will not be in the SSR (or any of the other cars listed below, crappy area and parking:D ) but I would like to see the your Red SSR.

I took a look at the past few SSR's sold at auction from the first 25 series and it looks like the going price should be 53 to 58 grand. It will be interesting to see if the prices on these two hold up. The others were sold prior to any other SSR's being availiable.

Are you going to bid on any particular car?

Thanks for asking Steve, but no, I won't be bidding on
anything. I'm just a working man that is very
excited about having something that only a few will
have. I am not just an SSRfanatic--I like all cars.
Your yellow SSR looks super in the middle photo.
The slammed look is cool but not practical where I
live. :(

I am going over to the auction this afternoon. I may try to talk to the guys running the auction and see if they would save us some type of special parking on Saturday for the SSRs. Can't hurt to ask....

#7 and #17 sold

I was in Dallas today at the Kruse Auction.
#7 sold to Vermont Chevrolet for $69K.
#17 sold to Paradise Chevrolet in Ca. for $66K.
Both trucks were awesome.

Was honored to talk to one of the engineers on the project.
He filled me in on a lot of inside details that were very interesting.
He also checks this website, so he knew I was planning to be there.
Steve T was there, but so were hundreds of others and we
didn't get to meet.

By the way my instant gas mileage is showing about 17mpg--all
the attention and good economy to boot. Good show GM.

Thanks WAYNESWORLD

Seems like the 25 Signature SSR's are bringing more in Texas and eastern states than in Ca at auction. Hey, not to change the subject, But did you have time to find out about that $250.00 incentive on your contract WAYNESWORLD? Im picking mine up in a few days in Central Texas. Thanks.

WAYNESWORLD - Sorry we did have a chance to meet at the Auction today.

I did end up with both of the signed SSR posters from GM. I will try to take a photo and post it tomorrow.

I did end up with a '69 Chevelle SS396 and a custom '68 Chevy truck with a LT1 and 700R4 tranny.

First--fireballone_3--that was dream cruise that got the $250
rebate--I got nothing. He posted 11-13. I will e-mail you soon.

Second--Steve T was very busy at the auction. You will be busy
again building on to your shop. I remember the SS396. WOW!
The Rolls-Royce that sold for $19k was a real bargain. I'm sure
we will meet up somewhere.:)

Posters?

Hey Steve T,

Just curious - what did the posters go for?

I ordered one from the SSR website - it came with a couple wrinkles, so I ordered a replacement - never sent the first one back, so I ended up w/ 2.

#81 and #298 - of 500...

A.C.

I'd be happy to meet up with you any time. Although I get to go home to VB once in a while, I spend most of my time here in the Atlantic City area.
