my new ssr just broke. my truck got some strange electrical bug. the top got stuck half way open, my windows quit working, and the ac quit blowing cold. i had to drive it to the dealer about 3 miles with the tob stuck because it wouldn't budge. the dealer said they would have it about a week. WHAT A BUMMER :cuss . then to add insulte to injury they wanted to give me an aveo as a loaner :lol

Should have an SSR to Loan

They should have an SSR to loan out. Whenever I go to get the Cadillac serviced if the repairs are under warrantee they provide me with a Cadillac of the greater or the same value. They should do the same when you get your SSR repaired under warantee. :flag

Hopefully this won't happen again, but try the cable releases for the top, it does work up and down. Check your manual for how to do it and it will take a few people.

Equivalent or better

E curtis is correct. When the dealer took my truck for a PCM change, they sent me to Enterprise for a rental. Enterprise ask we what I was driving, they gave me an "equivalent" a Cadillac CTS. I believe your can insist on it.

I was stuck and the only "loaner" they had available for me was a Malibu. :mad ..truck won't be done until Monday or Tuesday, needless to say, I won't be driving much this weekend unless I take the Lincoln LS my husband drives (my old car) If service keeps my :ssr past Monday I'll ask for something better!

I just returned an Aveo loner. Had it for a week. You will appreciate your SSR a whole lot more for having driven the Aveo.
