Mine is black plastic lined with a carpeted interior and also on the tonu cover. the carpet is attached with velcro (Velcro Fly, ZZTOP!!!). It is easily removed for cleaning and so forth. I love the idea of using velcro for the carpet. It is aesthetically pleasing and extremely functional. I think there are a miriad of conficgurations to choose from but I highly recommend the carpeted option.
