I couldn't believe it when my brother told me he saw an SSR on the way back from Cedar Point en route to Saginaw, MI. I said, "Too bad you didn't have a camera"... I was then even more surprised when he said he had a disposable camera with him in which he was able to snap off a few shots. (I thought he had probably just seen a Prowler or some other hot rod and thought it was the SSR.) Well, he was right... Thanks David!

Anyhow, I would like to share these pics with the board. I am not sure if it is a mule or not...However, the license plate was a standard (non-manufacturer's) Michigan state plate . The SSR was seen north of Flint on I-75. I'm sure the Michigandrians know where this strip is as it has been under construction for a while now...

Here they are:

Yes, it does look bigger from the back than first expected.
I also like the fact that the silver strip is missing.

I love the 'Yellow' color. (It's slightly brighter in the actual photo.) But, it's not the plain yellow you see from the past SSR pictures (Woodward Dream Cruise, etc..) Kind of a candy-viper-yellow...if there was such thing.

I think this one looks better than most of the SSR photos I've seen.

Can't believe it, but I've spotted the same SSR today that my brother caught on film! I had a class at the GM Tech Center and afterwards I decided to drive around the different parking lots and then low and behold, there it was...same license plate.

I had a disposable camera on me in which I was able to snap off several shots. Would have brought my digital, but the class was a last minute deal. Luckily, I always keep a disposable in my glove compartment. Also snapped a pic of an XLR a few yards away.

The SSR looked great! Maybe I can post a few pics after that ancient process called 'film developing'.
