The rubber seal is what wraps around the tray, right? What is it made of? Hmm, why not include it; it'd keep items from easily slipping off. Or "option" it?

The rubber seals come in different shapes and sizes. They are easy to find in any hardware store or on the internet. Google: Rubber trim-seal with side bulb. I think those would be the best to hold items.

I have them in aluminum. I believe they are fairly priced . However, if I can get at least 20-30 fanatics as a bulk purchase, then I will be able to lower the price per unit. Again, the cost is fair and is nominally marked up to cover the break even point plus material and labor. SSR's are very unique and I don't plan to get rich on this one.

I can include the rubber trim but it would cost at least an additional $20.00 to order (ex. 13 feet of rubber tube).

I'm not from "The Show Me" state, but, dang, I can't figure out how it works 😔. I just went out and looked at Kathy's, and still coming up blank. It looks like a good thing---Sooooo, when someone in the DFW area gets one, and I can see it in person / action, I'll definitly consider it.

Look at the picture above that illustrates the side. Try it out with a cardboard cut out.

@rust, thanks, TO BE CLEAR--I am NOT criticizing it or you !!! I like the idea. I've looked at every picture you posted in all the threads. It just will not register in my old brain. It looks promising, I guess I'll just have to see it in person. 😌
