I just got the rear spoiler from a friends 2005 GTO, And installed it on my SSR. He has the Yellow, Even though they were different color codes, the yellow is a spot on perfect match. The sides of the Goat spoiler flow perfectly with the truck, almost re-creating the body flow of the fenders shapes. It looks as if it was designed for our trucks.

04 Slingshot SSR.....does the spoiler actually touch the sides of the body as it appears to? It really looks great on your SSR!

Hey Stanman,

I have never been a proponent of spoilers on my SSR, but I must admit, your pictures have changed my mind. Man, that looks slick!

Good, creative and out-of-the-box idea. Glad it worked!

P.S. How does it attach? And can we see a pic from behind?

It uses the factory bolts from the GTO. 2 on each side the spoiler has inset threads. Flat bolts are under the cover between the body edge and the weatherstripping. I will post more pictures this weekend and show more angles out of the garage, we are having severe thunderstorms this week with a hail threat; so I am keeping it tucked saftely in the garage.

Thanks Stanman,

Hope you make it through the storms dry and dent-free! :thumbs

Can't wait to see the rest of the pictures. This option really excites me! (And it will act as a handle to open the cover when it sticks! :jester

Does tonneau still pop completely open?

Does the small added weight from the spoiler prevent the tonneau from popping all the way open when the remote is activated? I had the carpet/ tonneau light package installed by dealer after purchase and even that makes opening sluggish at times.

Full Side View and Back View

Can anyone post pictures of the full side view and back view of the vehicle with the spoiler installed? It would be great to see the overall look of the vehicle with them on.

Here are some more pictures from different angles including one of the space between the spoiler and the body.

The stripes were not easy but not hard to do.
I took a single pin stripe and ran it down the center of the truck, then measeures 2" off each side followed by another sripe to make a complete 4" centered gap.
I got the graphics from www.autotrimdesign.com, but through E-bay alot cheaper. Order their installation soulution and squeegee and I had them done in 4 hours. The hood was the harderst part, sort of like window tint; a lot of hard pressure pulling tword the front out side corners, but they did turn out awsome. Also you can select the color of stripe if you win the aution, the also have color changing options for a few dollors more.

To search try www.ssrdriver.com, this will pull up all the e-bay autions for an SSR in one quick browser.

Hope this helps out the fellow SSR owners out thier. :seeya
