Please tell me why sighting another SSR is as exciting to other guys as seeing a UFO ? As the wife of an owner ( The one who gets to ride shotgun !!! WEEE!!)
I got to spend all day Sunday riding around in our SSR trying to find someone else in their SSR. I love riding in it, but of course it would be more fun to drive it...
We rode all around Bladensburg, Greenbelt, Shadyside, Deale, and Annapolis,
Maryland and didn't find one. I don't think I would know what to do if I do see another one!!!!
Hey, did any one see the show on speed channel last night called CCR?
The guy who ran the show owned a red one and a yellow one. He drove each one to his shop. I was surprised how much time they actually spent showing the two SSR's considering it is a show about restoring old cars.

The disease spreads through town.

I thought when I bought my SSR that spotting would be a game for me alone.
Not so, when a neighbour comes home from a trip from the south they tell me how many SSR's they saw. :thumbs
It seems to me that the town folk here seem to notice more than I give them credit for.
Now we have 2 games in town the whole family can play. :lol
:lurk

Because They are Extraordinary

I think the reason is because the SSR is extraoridinary! You do not see a lot of them around (as further evidenced by what you stated) even though they are more affordable than ever. The people who buy SSR's saw something in the vehicle that spoke to them. That is what we each identify with, and we want to share that with each other! It is a special feeling.

That's what I think

E :thumbs

P.S. If you drive an Extraordinary vehicle you must be Extraordinary!

You and David are going to have to give me a heads up when you are out riding around. Sunday would have been a great day to meet up with you two.

My girlfriend get a kick out of how I can spot a SSR from a mile away. We were in DC and the only thing I could see was the back bumper of the SSR. I was acting like a big kid with a new toy. She could not even see it. When she saw it we had to stop and talk to the couple with there red SSR. She told them about how I saw there car and they got a big kick out of it too.

So this summer when do see another one you are to think that you are a kid again with a new toy. :) Happy Motoring. :flag
