This is not photshopped...... This SSR was air bagged giving it a total of a 4.5" drop in the front and a 6.5" drop in the rear. All work was done by Carr Tech Performance and it still rides sweet....

And it's on a black one too!!!! Very nice. It looks as if the larger exhaust tips were put directly over the factory ones. True or false?

You motivated me to add a new section to the member's gallery: Modified SSRs. You can upload them to that category and they will show up there and in your personal gallery. Let me know if you don't want to do it and I'll upload them. :cheers

Custom exhaust

How different does the new exhaust sound? Is it worth the extra bucks? Does it sound that much better? louder? What is the configuration of the system? cat back? true duals?

I want to change mine, but I can't find anybody that can tell me how much better it sounds. The sound byte on their web site is inconclusive at best.

Awesome!!!

QWKSSR,
Mine is black also, and that looks so awesome. I love the look and stance. Is that lowered all the way? You don't drive it that way do you? I too would like to know if you can drive it that low? How much did something like that cost you? Your truck looks fantastic.

Air filter

Qiukssr,

I noticed in your signature that you have a K&N filter. I've been looking for one for months...could you give us the model number so I can order one?

There is a sound clip of the system online at www.magnaflow.com it sounds awesome. It is a cat back system with a dual out muffler. I can really notice the power gain as well.

As for the suspension I did it all myself and yes it can still turn all the way. I air it up about 1" when I am driving. You can buy all the parts at www.masterimagecustoms.com

And for the air filter, it is the same K&N that is used for a C5 vette

I just looked all over ebay and I could not find that kit on there. All I saw was a Flowmaster which is not stainless and does not have a lifetime warranty.

Is it the panel filter (33-2111) or the FIPK (57-3035)? The Fuel Injection Performance Kit would be so much better. There are Corvette owners here. Does this thing fit?

Awsome looking SSR. Is the ride any different with the bags. How much trouble are they to install yourself. Where did you mount the gage. Also when I checked out the website there are two kits. Which one did you use.
