Yellow on I95 in Hobe Sound

I finally saw another one. After about 2500 miles of driving mine I finally passed another SSR. It was on thursday about 3pm on I-95 in Hobe Sound. I was southbound in my redline and saw a yellow one northbound driving topless.

Have spotted two in the week since we bought ours - saw an awesome yellow one with "Super Sweet Ride" in yellow on the windshield on Hwy 60 Saturday morning. Also, Wednesday night we went to the local car show at ChickFilA, and there was a black one parked close to us. We waited for the owner to show up so we could say hi, and when he did he hopped in and took off so fast we didn't have a chance! We'll catch him next time!! :lol

I was headed down the 5 toward San Diego and caught up to an Ultraviolet with new paper plates from a dealer I had inquired with. After we got an opening he blasted off but in a Z06 I caught him and passed him at a high rate. 04 SSR's are pretty fast, I am curious about the 05's. When he caught up we gave each other the :thumbs .

Its kinda funny becasue in my town there is only around 40 thousend people and there are three ssr's. one guy has a yellow one and the other guy has got a black one like mine but modified with a spoiler, flames, and some kinda exhaust that sounds like a motorcycle. Anyways i have no idea why i wrote that. See YA

Spotted

Saw a black one outside my kitchen window this morning. Low and behold, it was mine (that's been buried in snow for the past month).

The snow had melted off and was begging to be driven, so I was obliged to do so. Grabbed the keys and hopped in for a quick run to the bank to make a payment. Sure felt good to get in and driver her once again.

BTW it is 51 degrees here in Wisconsin on Feb 5. Very unusual weather for Feb in WI, normally 0 or less, but the warm weather is much appreciated. :thumbs

Got the itch for summer now.

Yellow one

I was going from L.A. to Quartzite, AZ Friday morning and I spotted a yellow SSR on I 10 headed toward L.A. about 10:15 AM. Was that you Saharajohn or someone else?

Though not very often, (and I like it that way), my wife hates it when I see another SSR on the road. We went to the grocery store one day in my black one, and when we came out, there was a red one next to mine. I wanted to wait...but you know how a woman can get. If I see one I can park next to or near....I will!!

SSR Spotting

I have only 'spotted' 2 since I'v had mine (3800 miles on the OD), which is fine. If they were everywhere, it wouldn't be as cool. I do have to say, to all you northerners that are digging out of snow...I feel sorry for you! Last week I rode home from work with the top down and enjoyed every minute. Occasionally I have to turn the heat on, but it sure makes the traffice less stressful when you can look up at the sky. I have even had to put the top up and back down at a light (strictly for public entertainment). (Yes, the lights here are long enough to do that!). I used to want to live closer to work, but now I am enjoying the drive, even if it is stop and go! I had an '02 Vette (which I LOVED) before this and was sad to hand it over to the hubby. Best thing I ever did...this truck was made for me!
I agree with the wave for the group, that way...even if we are in another vehicle, we can recognize each other!

A Smokin Asphalt in Plant City on Hwy 60 at Turkey Creek Road, and a yellow one on Hwy 60 at Hilltop Dr. in Brandon. Ladies driving both of them - you go girls!!

Spotted 3 of them on the corner at the local chevy dealer. Don't think they were expecting snow this week (but it did), cause it's the first I've seen an SSR at that dealer since November. I think with the warm spell they thought they would put them on the main drag corner hoping to attract some buyers.

SSR Spotted in Atlantic City

Was in Atlantic City, Nj this past weekend waiting to get my car from the valets when I noticed an SSR in the inbound line across the parking lot. Couldn't get to meet the driver.
It was at the Showboat.

Went to the movies today in Militas, CA. today with the wife. There was a yellow SSR parked over by Home Depot. It was still there when we got out from the show. I think he must work there. Didn't get a license number. I have seen a couple of red ones, a purple one, this yellow one, and even one aqua blur....but no other black ones yet here around San Jose.
