I think thats why they call it
RESALE RED.

Seriously the two tones might command a slightly higher price.

Personally i bought mine because I liked it, not because of future value. I will say the longer I've owned it the more the value has increased to the one person that really counts. ME! Oh and i like to think it has also increased for Marie as well.

The value of the friends we've made and adventures we have had is priceless!

Oh I totally agree but a friend is selling one and he thought that the yellow was higher value. I thought maybe blue just based on the rarity of the color.

According to the Nashville Automotive and Business World Magazine, the choice Chevrolet SSR colors preferred by Nashvillians were in order #1 Slingshot Yellow, #2 Smoking Asphalt, #3 Ricochet Silver, #4 Redline Red and #5 Pacific Blue with Ultra Violet and Aqua Blur finishing #6 & #7. Actually this publication is not published on a regular basis and usually can only be found every once in a while at convenient places on Dickerson Road, Gallatin Pike, and Nolensville Pike where their is a lot of activity at the street corner Pharmacies !!!:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:o_Oo_Oo_Oo_Oo_O

Both the NADA guide and Kelly Blue Book have $2500.00 add-ons for ULTRA-VIOLET!** 👍🏼😉

** Unfortunately the above is completely made-up and false. But it SHOULD be true! 😄

I think Pacific Blue is bringing the higher prices. Certainly that has been the case at the Mecum Auctions. Yet, like @Autoprof stated, most purchase a particular colored SSR because that is what catches their eye! If it's a Pac Blue then there are fewer of them around (532 minus the one I totaled.) So, there maybe a higher asking price. Same would be with the 2 tones Mark had mentioned.

No matter what color you get, you'll certainly not be disappointed with your very own PermaGrin! 😁

Of course I have to agree with Larry, Pac Blue holds it's value better than most.
Two tone are a more of a LIMITED EDITION, FPR, that would be the only reasons in "my" opinion they are more expensive.

To me it doesn't matter the color, beauty and value are in the eye of the owner.

I agree, buy what you like. An SSR is just too personal to be just an investment like stocks and bonds. Although, I believe that Chevy said the Slingshot Yellow and Aqua Blur were worth $395 more. (My Aqua Blur sticker says $395 for premium paint.) lol
