Exhaust system rattle?
Good call Bruce....... I have had the sealing “donut” on the right exhaust manifold give up, resulting in a loose system on my SSR a few years ago. If you grabbed the right tailpipe to shake the system, it would sound like a loose bucket of bolts....

My two cents,

Mike

15 years + 80,000 miles

Although we don't want to be reminded most Rs are OLD or getting older and begin to need repairs. :crying: Good post by Mike and others. Should be a easy fix / fun project.:grin2:

"Longer may you run" even at 80,000 you she still has a LOT of miles in her future.

Take it to a front end shop have them check
Out front end or if you can put it in jackstands and inspect all bushings some have had upper bushings bad with weight on it you may not be able to shake it

If it's happening after you hit a bump check your bump stops in the rear of the truck they might need to be replaced after 80,000 miles. Replaced mine after 30,000 had one in bad shape
