Looking for 2 to 3 sunvisor screws....I'm missing one on each outboard visor swivel support. Looking for some replacements .
I made the visor wedges. But the OEM screws get reused when the wedges are installed, they are plenty long enough. And yes they are easy to strip if over tightened so As Autoprof suggested, try one of the others first. If it's stripped you will need to get a larger SM screw and may need to drill the hole out to accept the larger screw or you might break it off in the hole if its too tight and that's real bad!I might be tempted to remove one and try it first in the missing location before buying more of the same size.
Its always possible the other side was stripped out, and that is why the screw fell out or wasn't reinstalled.
It would be real upsetting to go to all this effort to get the correct screw only to find out it won't work.😡
Additionally, someone on this forum offered a wedge to place between visor and headliner. They may have some ideas.
I can't remember who it was. I pretty sure someone here will search for that thread and report back.
Now, when you get time, consider updating your profile with your location so we will know where our neighbors areWow!
