We are working on listing alot more SSR specific performance parts. Alot of LS1 and LS2 engine componients can be used while induction and exhaust mods are vehicle specific. These long tube headers are one of them! We've installed them on many different vehicles with very good results (usually about a 25hp gain). This is a bolt-on long tube header package that doesn't require you to do any cutting/welding.

Let me know if you have any questions about this package.

One other note - the first batch of these headers are supposed to be released around the middle of February. We are currently taking pre-orders and offering some VERY good introductory pricing. Please call or e-mail to receive a quote.

The engine itself might be different but the headers will physically bolt up. The 4.8, 5.3, 5.7 and 6.0 engines are all in the same family.

Dynatech will be having a price increase as of February 1st so we are running a group purchase that covers ALL of the systems that they produce. Pricing is lower that we are allowed to advertise but you can receive a quote over the phone or by e-mailing [email protected] Please let us know when kind of vehicle that you would like to put these on when you contact us. We won't be able to provide you with a price if you just ask "how much for the headers"? And yes, we do get e-mails like that :) The first batch of headers will be ordered as soon as we receive 10 orders so it will be beneficial to place your order early! The rest will be ordered at the end of the GP.

Orders can be placed online or by calling 1-877-482-9763.(1-508-636-0770 in MA).

So then they should also fit the 03 Right?

Ok, so bolt on means what exactly, nothing has to be cut or changed. you just take off the old and put on the new? Does this interfere with the warranty in any way? I just don't know about changing somethings when I still have 2 years left on warranty.

WOW!!! That is so cool, our little black Roadster has made the front page!! The truck shown is my Wifes, it is an 03 and yes they are a direct bolt on. There is a sound clip of the headers listed under another thread. Awesome set up, the headers rock!!!

Here is the sound clip of the headers on the SSR.

Some pictures of the headers and cats installed on our truck. http://www.ssrfanatic.com/photopost/showgallery.php/cat/3019
If anyone wants some other shots either post back or email me and I'll see what we can do. These headers are great!!
It helps having the shop right around the corner from the house.

Yes, this is a bolt-on system so no cutting or welding is needed for the install. I think they missed a year when the info was sent over (I didn't pick up on it either). These headers will fit all years of the SSR.

Leo: Congradulations on getting your wife's SSR into the ad! :)

Here is some good info if your wondering about your vehicle's warrranty -

Legally, a vehicle manufacturer cannot void the warranty on a vehicle due to an aftermarket part unless they can prove that the aftermarket part caused or contributed to the failure in the vehicle (per the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. 2302(C)) . For best results, consider working with performance-oriented dealerships with a proven history of working with customers. If your vehicle manufacturer fails to honor emission/warranty claims, contact EPA at (202) 260-2080 or www.epa.gov. If federal warranty protection is denied, contact the FTC at (202) 326-3128 or www.ftc.gov. For additional information, check out the following links:
