For those interested in some light reading in FANATIC detail, the above link is where you can order the techie service manual for the SSR. It is two very huge volumes with pretty much everything you will ever need to service your SSR.

One of the main reasons for getting it is so those more mechanically minded than myself, especially the wiring stuff, could work on my SSR with a good resource. It very specifically tells you how to repair a lot of things, including my hinges. It should help my mechanic put the new hinges on correctly. It even says what tools to use and how much torque to apply to the nuts and bolts.

Actually, someone else on the forum posted where to get the manual a ways back so this is just revisiting an earlier, yet helpful issue.
