First of all I am very happy to be such an active member on the SSRFanatic site. Although I have a hectic life style (as most of us do) I hope to be up to my new task. I know many of you on here are very "talented" and do help monitor our site on a regular basis. Thank you for that because it takes a whole lot of us to keep our site running smoothly. Once again, I want to thank Troy for asking me to become our site's first Moderator. I hope in time that we might switch or add Moderators or perhaps share the role among many other capable SSR friends on here.

I have happily owned 4 Corvettes over the years but now my new found love is of course is our beautiful, gorgeous and stunning SSRs. I have been so fortunate to make so many new friends on here and within GM over the last several months. Not to forget one of the biggest resources we have on here are the retirees (i.e. freezer) and engineers and other great people within GM (yes outside GM too) who are also willing to share their expertise. They all help contribute in so many ways in making our ownership experience more pleasurable.

I believe we will see in the future more opportunities on this website were we will have a chance to provide GM with more input into what we would like to see improved and or added to the future SSRs.

Let us endeavor to have tons of fun and enjoyment, a place where we can share our great experiences with everyone here and around the globe. I look forward to help making this website our favorite place to come back and visit.

Ahhh… believe it or not we do occasionally go to the Buffalo Yacht Club to attend special events. However it is because my father is a member there, he is the one that has the boats and lives on the water front not me.

FYI: That photo was taken at Bay Head Yacht Club on the N.J. shores this past October were we stayed at the White Sands Hotel. We were there attending my niece’s wedding and the reception was held there. It is a beautiful place to see and we had a wonderful time there even though it was off-season at the shore. Those that are from NJ would probably know that area well.

Ps I have to confess... I edited this photo. I took out the canvas top "ugly" blue awning and the sky was dark and washed out looking gray... just to let you know the main 5 subjects weren't altered.

Thanks for all your kind replies... Ha Ha Ha... you can't imagine how hard it is to beat the women to the main computer at home and how hard it is trying to get free time on our computer to surf and work on the web, edit pics, make business and Christmas cards and create fun photos for all here etc etc! :banghead

Thank goodness I can still use my wireless laptop.

PS No SSRs please! Just cars, college and weddings to come and come and .....

Hey Marc! I'm back! (Been in a five day class and was getting up at 5:00 AM and getting home at 10:00 at night all week and would go right to bed!)

My gosh! You own an SSR and a beautiful family too? Some guys have all the luck! Man, if I was 30 years younger, I would make a GREAT son-in-law! :jester

Hey Buffy....we thought you were already part of the family seeing as how you and Marc are so talented with the adobe workshop

Someone asked me if Buffy was my twin brother :eek ... they said the only difference was that he had a beard! :lol

Ps I shaved my beard off and got smaller framed glasses so that no one would call me Buffy anymore.... :boxing
