Jim Jones built a NEW house on the lake, including a LIFT!

Jim/Amy have been SSR Fanatics since 2005.

We had a Hands On Tech Day at his house, more than one, actually.

THANKS JIM!!

One more, Howard aka BadBlackSSR.

I brought 04 EBCM that I re-soldered/tested for Howard. EBCM 03/04 is different from 05/06.

Dicktator

1. BadBlackSSR on rack for ABS/EBCM change.
2. Howard and Jim at work.
3. Howard having to grind a little metal because he has custom exhaust and headers.
4. ABS Module with LOW temp soldered PC board next to 1800 degree Cat. Solder melts, ABS light comes on!
5. Howard doing final check and installed Heat Shield.

Hello to everyone here in the Tampa Bay Area, I'm a new member with a 2006 Black SSR 6-Speed Manual.

How often does your group get together to do Tech Days or just to meet & greet? I would like to get on your email list.

Thank you,
Terry McIntyre

Thanks TopJimmy/RechDay/Pictures

Sometimes I think FORD made the SSR not GM ( Fix Or Repair Daily)
I think that is an unfair assessment. These vehicles are anywhere from 12 to 15 years old and things will happen with any vehicle that's been around that long. Also, many of these vehicles are not daily drivers and will have problems just from sitting and not being driven regularly. I don't believe a maintenance free vehicle has been built yet.

We did "Blinking Brake Light", Ignition Switch and roof flipper cylinders yesterday on Perry's Yellow SSR.

After we changed cylinders, Jimmy discovered reservoir had a brass plug problem so we removed reservoir and installed my reservoir, they don't make OEM anymore.

Works Great! No Runs, No leaks!

Dicktator

1. Flipper Hydraulic Cylinder
2. Your reservoir looks like this too.
3. Perry's reservoir was turned like this, someone had been into it.
4. My reservoir on left, longer, stronger, OEM on right.
5. Blinking LED Brake light module.
