GOT MY CALL FROM MY DEALER TODAY MY SSR IS IN .FIRST OF ALL I PUT MONEY DOWN ON A BLACK ONE WHENIT CAME IN THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO KEEP IT FOR THE DEALER OWNER. THEN THEY SAID A RED ONE WAS COMING SO I COULD HAVE THAT ONE. I SAID OK. REMEMBER I HAD MONEY DOWN AND A PRICE WORKED OUT. NOW MY RED ONE IS IN BUT THE PRICE JUST WENT UP 3K NOT TO HAPPY BUT I CAN't do much ABOUT IT . I GUESS YOU GOT TO WATCH WHAT DEALERS YOU DO YOUR DEALINGS WITH I WON't GIVE THE DEALERS NAME BUT THEY ARE IN THE AUTO MALL IN CINCINNATI OHIO. SAID ENOUGH GOOD LUCK TO ALL THAT ARE STILL LOOKING.:boxing

Did you have a contract with this dealer? If so I would demand that they give me the vehicle at the price specified in the contract. If not I suggest you get you money back and run to a FAIR dealer. Weather in Cinci should be bad enough to allow you wait wait a while longer to get the right deal from someone who WANT'S your busines..

msrp

sorry to hear about the dishonisty of your dealer. I mentioned this before. whenever i make a deposit on a car i always insist that the pricing is noted. like when i made the deposit on the ssr the credit card receipt noted "for msrp", and the order form with options noted "msrp". this is a legal financial document and can be pursued legally.

Cincinnati Dealer Gouging

R. L. Phillips:

GIVE THE DEALERS NAME! Also, address, crooked salesman's name, etc. Tell everyone you know. After you inform us, we can tell everyone we know, too! You should never have to pay over MSRP! Period! The goal (after you get your ride), is to cost them more money in other missed sales than they ever will make by gouging you. Believe me, it gets their attention.

Gouging dealers:

How about my dealer in Franklin, PA that wouldn`t give me my money back that I had down on the SSr. I had $5000 down because that was what he wanted to hold the vehicle and when I found a dealer that would sell for MSRP he wouldn`t give me my money back so I had to Pay the $5000 over. Tell Howard about that one. No papers signed when the deposit was given except a receipt and he still wouldn`t give it back or change his price.

Knoxville Dealers gouging

Was in Knoxville on a business trip last week, and called all three Knoxville dealers. No SSRs in stock, but all had at least one coming very shortly.

Reeder Chevrolet was at $4000 over, West Chevrolet at $5000 over, and Beatty Chevrolet at $10000 over. None would consider MSRP, even though I discussed selling prices on EBay with them.:confused

prices

everybody should remember these dealers when you want to buy another vehicle that is not in such demand and buy elswhere Check the smaller dealers they are usually more honest and not full of big city bag of tricks I made my deal 2 years ago and my dealer honered his commitment no questions asked.I am letting him display my ssr on the show room 2 weeks in a roped off area
