To All SSR Owners,

We all have either owned a Corvette, wanted to own a Corvette, or know someone who owns a Corvette. The one thing that binds all 'Vette owners is "THE WAVE".

I suggest that we initiate "THE WAVE" for SSR drivers also!!!!!

It's easy, whenever you see another SSR, you start out with a slight movement of your hand above the steering wheel, and eventually end up with a real, full arm, out the window "WAVE".

If you agree with me, and will "WAVE" to all other SSR drivers (because we're just so darn happy to be driving the best wheels on the planet) please respond to this message with a simple "YES".

This may start something that will continue for years to come, and bring a smile to your face everytime you see another person that had the foresight and savy to buy an SSR.

Folks, we are a very unique group, and we should acknowledge each other every chance we get!!!!!!!!!!

Can I get a "YES" on that?

I get thumbs up all the time. My first SSR encounter other than in the dark was last week and they were giving me the thumbs up on I-680. I have yet to flag one down however and meet them. :cool :cool

Yes! But some of us almost never see another SSR on the road. When I do see one, my wife says I almost go berserk trying to catch their attention. I guess it's an involuntary reaction of some sort. . . . :lol

Bikers always wave. It’s funny I’ve seen more SSRs on the road while riding my Harley than when I’m driving my SSR. I guess I should be wearing an SSR jacket while riding, or something to identify with the SSR drivers. Motorcyclists are just as proud of their rides as we are of our SSRs, we bikers wave to each other most all the time. I'm glad you waved back.

Yes I will definitley will do the wave. I have only spotted another SSR once and I gave the thumbs up. I've been looking for them ever since. if you are out there I am in LI,NY and I saw you in Oceanside crossing Merrick Road :seeya

count me in. i saw a yellow ssr when up in vermont and drove over the sidewalk in order to "pull up" next to them at a light. it was worth the look I got and the dual thumbs up and quick conversation. never did find out if she was on this site.

I'm okay with the wave, but have never owned a 'vette and really never had any desire for one. No where near as cool as the SSR.
