[SSR Fan]

Well, I've had my SSR for 1 week.
I cannot believe the attention this vehicle gets, both from pedestrians and other drivers.

Yesterday on my way home from work, I was driving in the center lane of a 3 lane wide expressway. I see a guy coming up behind me in the right lane. Once he reached me, it took forever for him to pass. He was just kind of hanging back.

He finally got ahead of me but kept looking back out his side window to see the front view. My only hope was that he stayed in his lane!

Have you ever noticed cars come up to pass you, but ease up to get a good look ?

Another :cool thing that happened yesterday..........as I was driving down the street, I saw a gorgeous '58 Pontiac coming the other way. The driver gave me a big :seeya . He was checking out the SSR just as much as I was looking at his classic ride.

Watch out

Wait until one pulls in front of you and then TURNS AROUND while he's driving to check it out. Had a number do that - some in heavy traffic. Just back off some to avoid getting hit by the debris.

The only view of my SSR that I provide is the tailgate! Objects just disappear in my rearview!!! :lol

It's just the beginning for you. I've had my SSR for over a year and the attention doesn't stop. I can top your three lane experience, try four lanes at 80 MPH. We were coming back from Vegas on a Sunday afternoon on the I15 which is a very busy freeway on any Sunday. My girlfriend told me there was a guy asking permission to take a picture of my SSR. I look over from my inside lane and he's driving and holding a camera. We give him the okey and he changes lanes to the extreem right side and starts snapping. What surprised us more was no one drove between us till he was done taking pictures, probably out of fear more than coutesy. Enjoy the attention, you paid for it....

The thing I don't like is.....

I use to get all the attention and looks, my husband use to have to say stop looking at my wife!!! Now the truck gets all the attention and my husband now says, stop looking at my truck!!!! Now I have to work out a plan to get more attention than the truck!!!! :lol

The stares and questions seem to never stop! From all kinds of people... young and old people never stop asking what is that? KOOL to AWESOME... to hey it sounds as good as it looks too. :thumbs We will have to run into each other soon... drive carefully! :ssr

... Now I have to work out a plan to get more attention than the truck!!!! :lol

I don't know about you but when I am at a light and first in line, I take off, why go slow!!
And I do this in all my vehicles, just so you know. But yester day I was in the right lane and a 2000 something Lexus was in front of me. They were poking around so I went around since I needed to turn right, I got in front of her. The stupid "B" thought I was trying to race or whatever so she sped up and got in front of me just as I was at the light to turn right. I guess she thought she was showing me a thing or two, I just hope she was looking in her mirror as she went forward and I turned and waved with my middle finger at ther. I could have taken her. :lol:lol:lol
