Personally I’d go under the car and come up behind either seat where there is a black rubber grommet to bring the wiring into the cab. I’ve done it a few times.

Abe I just rain a temp prob from cab to eng bay. See picture, note I did have airbag removed when i did this. The hard part was getting wiper blades arms off.

Without going out to the garage to take a peek, I seem to recall a rubber boot that comes thru the firewall just inboard of the master cylinder. Think I used it to run a wire into the cab a while back.
