In reply to my thread back on 9-21-2018 "Top won't go down" The outer latch connecting rod on left side (where micro switch works off of) was cranked out so for that with latch locked it was not making switch. I tested that switch with ohm meter back then but took switch off of truck because I wasn't sure how it was wired and it worked both ways. After pulling what little hair out I had and with a flashlight I started looking to see if the latch was broke or loose. At one angle it looked like latch wasn't hitting switch, so I popped rod off and turned it in one turn snapped it back on and top works fine now. With screw loose on micro switch, there is a lot of play to where the switch would miss arm inside.
I got my convertible back!

If you can post a couple of pics showing exactly where the problem was and what piece you turned; this would help other owners that may want to go in and try to do their own.

Now let's get that new radiator fan installed and watch that PERMAGRIN get a little bigger! Only 11 and a half months to Branson!! :grin2:

Already have room reserved and on list, I will get fan, radiator support and frame bridge plate installed over winter.. AS for pictures, this Dell does not like my I phone, won't download pics from phone and I let Debbie deal with that one because I would do away with phone and go back to camera's. Which I'm not sure if I have one anymore. I'll get pics somehow

SCREW LOOSE . . . causes lots of problems.
