TOSSR's (Texas Owners of SSR's) -

Haven't got dates exact yet, but have good chance for a neat, although short cruise in late April. The Offshore Technology Conference Barbecue is HUGE and takes up most of the parking lot at Sam Houston Racetrack (horses) - On the Friday of the barbecue, a group of about 20 - 30 Harleys has breakfast at the local Denny's and then cruises into the barbecue area. Talked to the organizer the other night - he'd love to have some SSR's in the cruise as well. You South Texas owners - let me know.

Got a date

The short Harley ride will be from the IHOP at Highway 6 and 290 on Friday April 29th. We'll meet up there at about 9:00 AM and will leave about 10:00 AM. I know 14050 said he always makes the cook-off and we're hoping to have him there. Wildcat66 might come, but it's along way for a short ride. Hope gmpartsguy reads this. Anybody else in the Houston area (or Texas, for that matter) is welcome.

If you're planning on going - let me know. We'll have to park in the regular parking lot at the barbecue (except for me - my truck's IN a booth) but I can get invites to a few booths if I know up front. That includes free food and beer. Lot's of booths have live bands and dancing. I'll be at the LHR booth and they have both.

The Harleys said they'd be glad to have us. :party
