My friend's brother-in -law is installing a regular 2500lb hitch on his R. He is going to tow an old fixer upper home behind him. Yes. He should be shot. I'll ask how he made out.

Is there a difference between a "regular" 2500 pound hitch and a "regular" OEM 2500 pound hitch?

Seems kinda silly to replace the hitch and not have a difference somehow....
