When the load is within the 2500 lb limit, towing is efforless. You can hardly tell there is a trailer unless you look in the rear view mirror. Obviously, acceleration capability is reduced. I have done this on some very twisty roads and there is very little effect on the overall handling.

The hitch is actually one of the neat features on an SSR. There is a keyed knob that is part of the hitch bar that makes the installation of the hitch very easy. It locks in place with a key so that it is difficult to steal. Finding the trailer wires and putting on your electrical connector is the hard part.
