Looks like I am getting a consulting gig that will have me living temp in Columbus OH.

I will be allown in a far away city and might get board. Anything going on in the next few months in the Columbus area?

Good Guys goes there each year. It is the biggest event for Good Guys and worth going. Not sure what the dates are off the top of my head but seems like second week in July are close to that.

And I'm 100 miles south in Cincinnati. Sounds like Columbus is a good middle ground if schedule works out. There's a cool bike shop on the east side of Columbus called Iron Pony. It's time for trip up there anyway. Let's get Maggie Valley behind us and plan something out.

Hi! Read the post incorrectly as I thought you were driving the SSR on the work commute. I tried that but at 16.5 mpg on premium fuel (supercharged) it gets quite expensive. Kevin & Dorothy Sherry/RI

GoodGuy's 21st PPG Nationals..will be in C-bus...July 6-8 @ Ohio Expo Center....Great Show....I travel with a group that go every year.... Columbus Clippers (minor league)...play at Huntington Field.Hockey season is over for Columbus Blue Jacket Team, the Pro Soccer team " Crew " still playing......to early for the World Famous Ohio State Buckeye's to play......but if you follow the Bucks...it was announced today Joe Burrow (qb)will transfer from the program..he's a graduate transfer eligible to play at any any program.....Florida looks like the landing spot for him.

I got the R out on May 1.
Got new tires installed May 7.

Lol looks like I started something. Yes I will be driving my baby, she is my daily driver.

On a side note I was having her checked out for the trip and find that the transmission was about to go out.... so now she is sitting with her guts out getting a rebuild.

I hope they are done Friday because I. Need to be on the road Saturday.

I live in the suburbs of Columbus. Northwest side, where will you be staying.I will be happy to come meet you sometime after Maggie Valley. Maybe plan a meet and greet north of town at Quaker steak.
What dates are you here for?
Do you play golf, enjoy car shows, casinos ( never visited either casino myself)?

I made it to Columbus with the R, It was an amazing drive top down for the first part of the trip. Had to go top up the next day to keep the sun burn from getting to bad. LOL

I like the city so far. I am staying in Crosswoods on the north side of the city.

So far it looks like I will be in town all the dates that have been tossed around so I am in.

Glad you made it ok. Columbus is a nice town, I've worked up there quite a bit. Next month, maybe 6/10 or 6/24 should work for us. Maybe @Autoprof can work out a meet location? (Of course Susan will be our third wheel!)
