I don't think she is going to see the humor in that unless she paints or runs a nail gun or other air tools. Better buy her some roses or you will be living in the shop.
Auggie, I thought about it and you were so right. So I went out this morning and got her some office furniture and cabinets to go in the garage..If I can get her to put it all together that can be my present from her.. LOL

Liz and I decided to take a break from DeLorean Restoration and pulled the cover off the Blur and headed out to remove the flat spots from the tires. We drove it down to Lidl to get a gallon of milk and some yogurts. Boy I like driving it. Can't wait for warmer temps so we can cruise topless (chest hair blowing in the breeze!) NOT

5 R owners and a previous owner met at Calhoun's Steakhouse in Oak Ridge TN. Today. After a good meal @rockytop took us over to The Airplane Gas Station. Thanks Fred and Debbie. Good time's. Sorry PeteL, you left with you AquaBlur before I took pictures. (Have no idea why some npictures are duplicate).

I see this is your first post. Welcome! You should start a new thread and introduce yourself. Let us know what color (red) you drive and where you're from!
I agree with @Firetruck but would say click here and then click start a discussion so your post will come up in the New Member section.

I took it out and washed it. It took about an hour to set it clean. That was from setting in the garage. I may drive it tomorrow I will see. Planning for our annual "drive" this June. Soooo to begin with I want to measure tomorrow to see which front shocks to go with. I am trying to decide if I want to drop the front after lowering the back. The gap above the tire to the edge of the wheel well is a about equal now.

I was going to attach pictures, the ones others posted are better.

If it is in a stored building it still needs insurance as the building will not cover it from wind, fire, flood, theft etc.l Not much savings.

Used some 2 part Loctite plastic bond to put my cup holder door back on. Thanks to Dicktator, I found out where to order the entire assembly. I have one of those on the way (Plan B). I'm thinking of modifying the new one into a cell phone holder.

We will see.

Picked up my Floyds caps from my vinyl shop.
They needed the same treatment that the door props and chrome insert recieved to really make them pop.
I will install tomorrow when i visit storage facility to make rent payment. More pictures after install.
Here are 2 of the caps .😃😎😃
Nice! (y)

BTW, what is this "treatment" you speak of? Some extra elbow grease to polish them, a sealer or ??? They look great!

After thinking it to death I finally installed a new MagnaFlow muffler (#12198)! Now the R has a deeper, more "throaty" rumble at idle and a nice roar if I jump on it, with a few (but not too many) pops on deceleration. There's a slight drone in the cab when accelerating but very quiet inside when cruising along. It's a straight-through design and it seems like there's a little more HP too, but might just be wishful thinking.

I know I could have gone louder, with some other options or even deleted the muffler completely, but we like our neighbors. ;) Pretty much a Goldilocks upgrade IMHO.

I made a "before" video and as soon as it stops raining I'll make an "after" for comparison and post it.
