Hi Fanatics

Just joined today.In about a week I hope to have my 2006 SSR. Was at the dealer today specing it out. Came across a question , what is the difference between the federal emissions option code FE9 and MA/ME/NY/VT emissions option code NE1?

Could have something to do with what your state laws are for emissions or your countries laws are.

To be sold in California

You need FE9, NE1, or YF5.

I was told that:
FE = Federal Emissions
NE = North East (or Northern Emissions)
YF5 = California Specific

All are equal? That I do not know.
