SR7 Plus [Escort Passport with Laser Shifter]
First mod installed today. I have used Escort X50 and liked the peformance for all bands with the exception of Laser. If the Laser warning goes off in normally means "got you." All other bands work very good. Tested the X50 several times against Laser [new where they were] and seldom received a warning. It does work well on my motorcyle and receives the Laser warning early enough to slow down. I understand that is because the unit is mounted in the open and can see the Laser beam quicker.
Watching the local and State police sitting on elevated on ramps shooting suspected speeders from the rear convinced me to purchase the Laser shifter as a defense for the totally unseen predator attempting to increase revenues for the city, county, state, etc.
I wanted a built in model because it is stealth, and I can leave the top down without worring about some one helping themselves to the radar unit. After having to remove the X50 several times one day to put it away so it did not attract attention, it made sense to me to have the entire system built in.
Will report on the performance when I have the opportunity to confirm it is working properly. Hope that is a positive report!!!!!
