irish - I feel your pain - I took mine through a touchless carwash the second day I had it and the alignment roller had been worked on recently and had left a sharp welding bead on the edge. My left front wheel touched it in 2 places 180 degrees apart and left two scratches.
The car wash bought me a new wheel which I hope to get changed this weekend. I will then touch up the scratched wheel probably at a local body/paint shop. The Chevy dealer has not found the paint I need for it but I have not pressed the issue. I'm sure they can get the proper paint code and I may have it touched up there. I will let you know what is done to fix mine as soon as I get it done.
The new wheel was ordered on Thursday and arrived on Friday, amazing one day, I supposedly got dealers cost $505.00.
Anyone wanting a spare front 19" wheel for say 250.00 with 50 miles and two scratches on it?
One last note irish - isn't it amazing how bad just a couple scratches on a wheel can make you feel on this SSR - I guess it shows how much we like em!
