Just out of curiosity... I have a Chevy Tahoe, or as GMC would call it a Yukon, the Chevy Suburban is the GMC Yukon XL, many of the same pickup trucks and SUVs in both lines, just wondering why there was never any GMC version of the SSR?:confused

This is a good question since Caddy now has the XLR (upscale corvette?) and GM has shared so many platforms amoung the divisions over the years. The GMC trucks back in the 47-53 years were the same as Chevy but they had an ugly grill. Chevy El Camino/GMC Sprint come to mind also. I'll bet at first GMC wanted a version until sales figures started showing up.
