I know that the cockpit windbreak was a new option for 2005, can one be installed in a 2004 model? Just curious. Thanks- Jeff
While I agree that the WindsupreSSR is a better choice than the factory model, If your 04 SSR was built after June 04, the 2005 factory wind screen will fit. It requires a slot that is cut into each seat bumper, which Chevy started doing in June.

GM Wind stop

If you really want the GM part, here are the part numbers and vin's to which they apply. I suspect the second will include new bumpers, but you should ask your seller to be sure.

10395211 Cockpit Wind Break Deflector Aerodynamic wind break deflector w/ SSR Logo (From VIN #1GCES14P74B112074 to current)
15223670 Cockpit Wind Break Deflector Aerodynamic wind break deflector w/ SSR Logo (Prior to VIN #1GCES14P74B112074)
