I know this has been discussed before, but I wanted to bring it up again.

The rubber on the inside of our windows is so wrong!!! There are now 3 scratches - 1 on the driver's side and 2 on the passenger's - and the only thing that kept them from scratching the glass is the tint. The guy that did our tint said he would redo the windows, but it would just happen again unless there was a fix to what caused it.

The dealership's service writer here said they had the same problem with the Trailblazers and he is checking for a bulletin. Does anyone here have that information? I'll take the bulletin number to him if need be.

TIA,

Hmmmm.....

That would be one solution (if I knew which tinter knew how do fix GM's mistake) but I would really prefer that GM fix their mistake and not cost either of us money.

Where is that tintshop guy on the board? Anyone have any references in the Northern VA area that can fix GM's mistake if GM won't do it? My guy does great tinting but doesn't know about doing felts.

I appreciate installers charing for their time & skills, I certainly do for my professional services. You must admit there was plenty of nasty words in your post. It is very difficult to find a good installer in the first place and if we send them to your site it may just scare them off, or cause them to raise the price so high owners of SSR's may just decide NOT to have the work done.

methinks the tint shop has occular rectitis.

It's an inflamation of the nerve from the eyeball to the rectum, and it gives you a ****ty outlook on life.
