Have now put up the banner, the SSR plaque and hung the green ASC workshop coat I won at the lottery. Everything reminds me of the fantastic Rally we had in Detroit, Michigan. So nice to have met all of You SSR-fanatics! Will surely inspire me to spend even more time in garage during the cold, dark winter we are about to enter. Have some minor upgrades to do this winter in order to further improve my beloved SSR.

Well, now I know who won the Lansing Craft Center shirt. I put all my tickets into that jar - - - but I am very happy it went to you, my friend.
I will never forget the look of happiness on your face when YOU were allowed to get into the SSR Prototype. Talk about a Premagrin look!

...and I put half of my tickets in on this bid and the other half on the bid next to this where there was a yellow shirt and a yellow cap (wanted to win that as my SSR is yellow). I was however lucky to win at least one of the bids! I'm still very proud of beeing offered the possibilty to sit in the prototype. Everytime I look at the pictures I get a warm feeling... One probably have to be a fanatic to understand! My smile was from ear to ear. /"The Swedish Guy"

I got it at the Rally from someone I forgot the name of. He gave it to me as a "long distance prize" even though I attended without my SSR. I think that there also was a red one at the silent auction. The TSA-people at the airport were a bit suspicious of what was in my suitcase on my way home. They opened the suitcase and went through everything...

I can relate to your long winter comment, LeSmi. On a visit to Sweden and surrounds in 2014, we were having lunch overlooking a lake in late August. The waitress commented that the restaurant was closing the following Monday for the winter! She said she was done with it, heading to Australia. We had a enjoyable few days in Sweden. Stay warm.

I also would love to spend time with the Concept/Prototype - so much to enjoy about her.

BTW, a bit concerned you may suffer from OCPD - nobodies garage should be that organized!
I would need a "garage maid"!

 

I live by the one rule I once learnt on a small sailing boat - "Always put things back at the same place where You took it". Simple, and it works!

 

That is one remarkable garage! Someday I will finish my garage.
