Does anyone know of a good security system that includes the option of a proximity sensor that I can install myself? I am worried about letting some hack from Best Buy fooling with my wiring! What I am looking for is a full system, remote start would also be nice, that would warn and then alarm if someone reaches into the passenger compartment area. I have a system on my motorcycle that has a sensor that will chirp if someone gets too close and then doesn’t move away. It will eventually go full alarm if they remain too close or actually climb on the bike. The sensor is under the seat and is adjustable for range. It also has a 2 way fob that notifies me of anything going on with the alarm. I am wanting to be able to park and leave the top down and not have to worry about the inside of my R.
