Wow! My set of mats came in the mail today that I bought on eBay a couple of days ago. I can sort of tell what they may have figured was a flaw so they had to be sold as seconds. But, you basically need a magnifying glass just to see it. The white rubber very microscopically bled where it's attached to the black rubber. Not a big deal at all! In fact, they look so good I almost hate to put my feet on them and mess them up. :D

Anyway... on a 1 to 10 scale, I'd rate these mats an 11. Even with the so-called flaws.

Here is a picture of the rubber mats in case anyone wants to see how they look:

Can you post the link or the eBayer who was selling them so I can see if they have anymore?

Originals sets LONGGGGGG gone. Here it is as per my original thread and I was'nt able to purchase a set of the rubber ones (seller would'nt ship to Canada):banghead :mad:cuss

However seeing you asked, same seller has another 30 sets just posted on E-bay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SSR-...ne-GM-50-MSRP_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33697QQihZ009QQitemZ190003180692QQrdZ1

However, looks like they are only the carpet type, no rubber and the "buy-it-now" went from $35 to $50.......I guess not a bad price for brand new:cool

Thanks for the info.

There still appear to be 2 more sellers of those rubber SSR logo floor mats on ebay as of this morning (6-29-06):

1. Item #200002502188
ebay seller: Jenningsparts
$82.99/set (Buy It Now price)

2. Item #8063327632
ebay seller: Parts-Superstore
$85.00/set: (Buy It Now price)

Are these prices high? It seems like I remember that a lot of you paid less than that? Are these floor mats worth these prices, or should we stay with the OEM carpeted floor mats?

Back in stock

The custom rubber mats are back in stock on gmpartsdirect.com this morning. You have to clik on the 2005 model to get the ones with the logo, and they are $86, get'em while they last.

Correct

That is the one, they have very few photo's on their site. I've ordered from them many times, some items take longer than others, but they have always been reliable.

The eBay seller was: tmmr1speed

He had 15 sets and they all sold like wildfire. I was mainly saying how nice the GM rubber mats are if anyone is wondering. They are WAY nicer than the carpeted mats as far as I'm concerned.
Bought mine the same way and I don't know why anyone would pay more. I think they were about $35.00. Like DakotaDocMartin I rate them an 11. I just put them over the carpeted mats. It was the deal of deals.

Got mine...

yesterday. Both mats have minor flaws. On the drivers side, I can see some bleeding of the white rubber compound that looks like a stain. On the passenger side, there's a few "holes" in the surface I assume were caused by air bubbles in the mold. Just 2 that I saw, but enough to reject it. I'll be using these in mine and figure that the abuse they'll get will quickly hide any of those imperfections.

No matter how you look at it, it was a good price for the mats. Those mats selling for $80+ should be for the factory boxed non-reject items.

My SSR came with the plain jane mats (yes, 05's came with those standard too - embroidered ones were optional), and bought a set of the embriodered mats via gmpartsdirect early this year. I've left those sealed in the box for now. After 1 year, my factory driver side mat is looking noticeably rougher and is still deformed (wrinkled ever since delivery) enough that it never stays in place. The rubber mats are going to be very welcome indeed!

got mine today

I got a set of the $35 mats (actually $25 plus $10 shipping). Bought them Sunday, delivered today. Mine were very similar to those described by ssr71. Some minor flaws, clearly should have failed quality control, but you won't see them from 4 feet away and they'll get scuffed anyway. If they come back for that price, grab 'em!

He started the mat sale before the GM Parts Direct sale. Where he gets his stock from is his business. I don't even know. Sorry, he would not ship to Canada. I get alot of sellers that won't ship to Hawaii, because it's International or over a large body of water, go figure that one out? Good Luck w/ GM parts direct.

The mats that I see in the photo on that eBay auction are for the 2005-2006 models. The 2003-2004 type have a narrower forward portion on the driver's side. I have a set of those on eBay right now in fact if you want to compare the shapes. If he does have both types better make sure of which type you are getting.

Dakota, That's what he said that both GM numders for this item are for the 2005-2006's. And if you can, drop a nickle how to get to yours.

Thanks.

If you search eBay for Item Number 270005291972 you can get a look at them. They are in good used condition. (I currently have three bidders and 16 watchers.)
