SSR MI Weekend Getaway July 21st 22nd & 23rd

No Rooms Left @ the Special Rate

Our new comer Charlie was going to join us for the MI weekend getaway. But unfortunatley suites are all that are left at a hefty price even with a discount.

I called the hotel after I talked to Charlie this morning to see if I couldn't get him in for the price we had..........no luck :banghead

I'm sure we all would have loved to have him and his lovely wife join us. It's good to know that we have another SSR member willing to join us on the MI Runs. :thumbs

Charlie looking forward to maybe seeing you at the WDC & picnic and or the next MI run!

Michigan Getaway

Wow! Looks like we have a great weekend planned for us! I know from living in Michigan all my life, that rooms in that neck of the woods, especially this time of year are hard to get. Looking forward to seeing old and new Fanatics again.

Petosky Weather Forecast

Here is our weekend forecast for the MI Weekend Getaway for the Petosky Area. I will check back Wednesday to see if there are any changes. :) Looks like we have a great chance for a top down cruise....temps are perfect :thumbs

Getting Closer-Check List

Getting Closer..................:eek I'm not ready :D

We will meet in the Mt. Pleasant Soaring Eagle Casino parking lot at 11:00 A.M. Who ever gets there first find a safe spot to park us. Petosky Inn check in time is 4:00 P.M.-However if we get in earlier then this and the rooms are available we should have no problem checking Inn.

Some of this trip we will be flying by the seats of our pants. Sometimes it's better not to plan and just roll with the dice. My plan is to take it slow.....not rush and enjoy Michigan's Beauty :thumbs

Sorry to inform you that Rebel & Brenda cannot make the trip with us this time. Rebel's work schedule has changed.

Sorry guys, I have been backing away from the site to cool off for a while. If I was in my regular fanatic mood, I would have caught Charlie’s needs and made the offer.

Have fun this weekend, and when sipping on a cold beer Saturday afternoon, think of me in 100*F+ temps, with scotch guarded coveralls that don’t breath, hair net, beard net, hard hat, safety glasses with side shields, work boots, moving machinery around, grease up to my elbows…. :nopity

Catch you all in August :cheers

I guess it is for the best. Pat reminded me that I had told my dad I was coming over on Friday to help him with some drywall repair. Kinda the blind leading the blind. <GBG>

I'll be seeing you all at the Dream Cruise and the picnic. I'll PROBABLY make it to Deb's on Thursday & whatever gets set for Friday. I've got the time blocked in on my calendar. :rolleyes:

Steve and I will be leaving our home between 8:00/8:30 A.M. It is approx. around 2 1/2 hr drive for us. Everyone be safe and we will see all of you out there. :seeya

Meet at Mt. Pleasant Cusino Parking Lot at 11:00 A.M.

Look for the :ssr (HotRodGirl) :yellow: (rhobbel) :black: Scott(0618) and Custom :black: (Marty) in the parking lot area.

We plan to leave around 8:30 am also. Anybody have any Idea on construction problems we may face? I know they always seem to be working on 23 and 75 also so I was considering going 96 to 27 up

Michigan Getaway Weekend

Hello Michigan traveler's, Karen and I got home this afternoon about 2 o'clock. What a memorable weekend for both of us! We put over 700 miles on our SSR. Hope to see everyone at Woodward in a few weeks.
